Mentis Clinic USA was founded to provide compassionate, evidence-based neurodivergence care, empowering individuals to thrive. As the sister clinic to Mentis Clinic UK, our origins are rooted in both expertise and personal experience, thanks to Dr. Faisal Shaikh, FRCPsych—a British-trained psychiatrist with over 24 years of clinical practice specializing in Adult ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
A Story Rooted in Experience and Compassion
For Dr. Shaikh, neurodivergence is more than a professional focus—it’s personal. As a father of three, two of whom have moderate to severe Autism and ADHD, he understands the challenges firsthand.
His journey led to the creation of Mentis Clinic UK in 2022, guided by three principles:

Dr. Faisal S. Shaikh is a Consultant Psychiatrist specializing in Adult ADHD and ASD. His approach blends neurobiological and psychodynamic thinking, ensuring that every patient receives a tailored, holistic treatment plan.
